Yes, completely. We offer a free site visit and design consultation before you commit to anything. We'll visit your home across Delhi NCR, take measurements, understand your brief, and share design ideas — all at no charge.

Not necessarily. We can start with a site visit at your home and share material samples there. However, we do recommend visiting the showroom at least once for material selection — seeing and touching timber, fabric, and stone in person makes a big difference to the final decision. Our showroom is at Shop No. 146, New Mangla Puri, MG Road, Delhi.

It depends entirely on the piece — size, material, fabric, and complexity all affect the price. A custom accent chair typically starts around ₹25,000–45,000. A sofa starts from ₹60,000. A full dining set from ₹80,000 upwards. We share a detailed, itemised quotation after the design consultation so you know exactly what you're paying for before committing.

Yes. We typically require 50% advance on order confirmation to procure materials, with the remaining 50% due before delivery. For large projects, the payment schedule is discussed and agreed in the contract.

No. Our quotations are itemised and final. Delivery and installation within Delhi NCR is included. If you're outside Delhi NCR, freight costs are quoted separately upfront — never as a surprise at the end.

Lead times vary by piece complexity. A single accent chair or coffee table typically takes 2–3 weeks. A sofa takes 3–5 weeks. A full bedroom suite or large dining set can take 5–7 weeks. We confirm the exact timeline at the design stage and keep to it.

Yes. We send you WhatsApp updates with photos at key milestones — typically after the frame is built, after finishing, and before packing. You're always in the loop.

Minor changes (fabric swap, hardware colour) may be possible depending on the stage of production. Structural changes after the frame has been built are generally not possible. This is why we invest so much in the design and sign-off stage before production begins.

Yes. We deliver across India. Delhi NCR delivery and installation is included in the price. For other cities, freight is quoted separately based on location and piece size. We've delivered to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, and several other cities.

All Walnut Studio pieces carry a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. This includes structural issues, joinery failures, and fabric defects. Normal wear and tear, damage from misuse, or damage from water or sunlight exposure are not covered. See our Terms of Service for full details.

We deliver and install ourselves, so damage in transit is extremely rare. If anything is damaged, report it to the delivery team immediately and photograph it. Contact us within 24 hours at abhay@thewalnutstudio.in and we will resolve it — repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

Yes, for pieces we've made. We also take on select restoration projects for high-quality antique or heirloom furniture. Get in touch with photos and we'll let you know if it's something we can help with.

No. We build entirely in solid timber. No veneers over MDF, no particle board cores. This is what separates custom handcrafted furniture from mass-produced pieces — and why our furniture lasts decades rather than years.

Yes, in most cases. If you've found a fabric or stone you love, share a sample with us and we'll advise on suitability. There are some materials we can't work with (fabrics that are too delicate for upholstery, for example), but we're flexible wherever possible.
