Cancelling an Order or Part of an Order
Time Frame
If you change your mind after placing an order, you can cancel the order (or part of the order) within 24 hours of the order confirmation.
Fee
A cancellation fee of 2.5% will be applied on the amount paid by you while processing the refund.
Returns & Replacement
No item shall be returned as each of our piece is made to order.
In case , any damaged product is received immediately write us at info@thewalnutstudio.in . Damage & defect will be assessed in 72 hours, and a solution will be provided. If in the opinion of Walnut Studio, the product is broken, it may be returned/replaced, or any other corrective measure may be taken, as deemed appropriate by Walnut Studio, to address the issue.
Warranty
This product comes with a 1-year warranty which covers manufacturing defects, inherent termites and borer issues.
For upholstered products, the warranty applies to the frame, mechanisms, if any.
This limited warranty does not apply to the following:
- Normal wear and tear of the product over prolonged use
- Small cuts, scratches or damages due to wrong cleaning methods or impacts/accidents
- Damage caused due incorrect installation/assembly by the customer
- Cracks developed due to displacement of the product
- Fading due to direct exposure to sunlight
- Decaying of wood due to consistent exposure to water
- Upholstery fabrics such as seat covers have no warranty
- Non-standard dry-cleaning procedures or use of harsh chemicals
- As per the industry standards, unevenness of up to 5 mm is accepted widely due to differences in floor and surface levels. This is not covered in warranty.
- Warranty ceases for breakable items like glass and marble once the product is delivered and duly checked in presence of the delivery guy.
